So I went to the grocery store as often people do and among other things I purchased some Oreos. The lady at the register looked at the Oreos and then at me and said, "What are you going to do with these Oreos?". I told her, "I am going to eat them.".

Is there an illegal use for Oreos? She seemed very judgemental in my Oreo usage. I made sure I wasn't being tailed the whole way home... you never can be too sure.

So all I really know about India is this.

1. They eat monkey brains and bugs and also rip out people's hearts. (Source)
2. They ride elephants no matter what. I think they are born with them attached. I don't have a source for that but I'm pretty sure there was some show between America's Funniest Home Videos and Friends that had a video of India people riding elephants.

Okay so neither of those are true (except the monkey brains) and I work with a fair amount of people from India. One guy I work with loves movies and as anybody who has been to my apartment knows I also love the movies. He recommended a few movies from India for me to watch and I just finished my first one this weekend. The name of it is, "Munna Bhai". I was skeptical at first but figured, "Hey... I can always shut it off".

I watched the whole thing through and even rewatched a few parts. It's a really good movie. He told me they're remaking it in the U.S. with Chris Tucker or somebody. It's rather unfortunate that they don't just release this version in the U.S. theaters but really nobody would go see it... I mean... read? At a movie? Are you serious? And I can't really picture the songs being in the U.S. version... we need more musical type songs in U.S. movies too...

Anyway pick it up on Netflix or something if you're looking for a movie you haven't seen to rent... because you probably haven't seen it. There is even song and dance and they're quite catchy actually.

To Vote or Not to Vote?

The 2004 presidential vote was the first time I voted... it was kinda odd. I was there early in the morning, was 3rd in line, got my vote in and got out. Tomorrow is a vote for... I don't even know... I hang up on all the people that keep calling me about their candidate and I don't watch TV much anymore... I suppose it has something to do with senators or congressmen or governors or something. It's certainly my fault I'm uninformed. But after watching this video (yeah it's long) I'm not sure I even *want* to vote...

I'm not saying that kind of stuff happens nationwide but it does happen I'm certain. It's rather... scary.

We'd probably all just be better if we voted for this guy anyway... :)
